Advice To My Friend About
Academic Policy Of Seneca College
It would be very difficult to further your studies in
Seneca College. You must apply yourself in every courses and make outstanding
achievement for the degree or diploma.
Firstly, for degree programs, the
minimum requirement for graduation is an average of C+ (2.5) in courses in the
main field of study, and an average of C (2.0) in all other courses. No student
will be eligible to graduate with a Seneca College certificate or diploma if,
in more than 30% of the courses required for graduation, the student has
received a grade in the D range.
Secondly, it is the responsibility of the student to
submit all assignments by the published submission deadline. At the discretion
of the faculty, deductions may be applied for any late assignment submissions.
Thirdly, on the recommendation of the
Promotion Committee, grades such as DNA, F, ***, ATT or "D"
(non-credit) may be transferred from the upper portion of the transcript to the
Non-Applicable Credits section.
