Field Trip Report
After about
forty minutes bus ride, we at last arrived at the Black Greek Pioneer
Village---our field trip destination. A merciful and frinendly lady show us
around the village which contains more than forty heritage structures, such as
homes,workshops,churches and community.The
one of my favorite buildinds is the Tinsmith shop which used to be a hardware
shop. when we came into the store, a old person was making small holes on a
piece of thin tin plate which was for a lantern shade. The other building is the
printing office. A printing worker demonstrated how to print a newspaper.
Thanks to LINC
teathers' arrangment that we have a opportunity to learn the history of life in
toronto region.Unfortunately, by reasons of time or maybe the program fee, we
can not able to visit another buildings like cider mill, cooperage and so on.Perhaps,
I can come to the village again to further study. In conclusion, this actuvity
was amazing and had educational meaning.
